UPM SERDANG, 19 February 2025 – The Internal Audit Division, UPM today sent three representatives to attend the Taxation Briefing for the Assessment Year 2024 (individual e-filing).

This briefing is organized by the Staff Finance Section, Bursar's Office which aims to provide more understanding to all UPM officers about individual taxation.

The briefing began with the recitation of a prayer followed by welcoming speech by Pn Yusnawati Mat Isa as the Head of the Division. The ceremony continued with a briefing delivered by Encik Amat Azmi Hassan, Deputy Public Relations Officer 1, at the Tax Education Unit, Inland Revenue Board, Putrajaya.

Completing this taxation briefing reveals a new application that can be downloaded on mobile phones, namely MyTax. MyTax is the main display center in the form of a dashboard for tax information to tax payor.

In addition, Mr. Amat Azmi also provided information and explanations regarding existing and new tax exemptions for the assessment year 2024. 

The briefing starts at 9.15am and ends at 12.00pm.

With this briefing, UPM residents in particular can gain more in-depth knowledge about individual taxation.
