13 October 2023, Serdang – From 9th to 13th October 2023, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) has carried out 2^nd Monitoring Audit Revision, Quality Management System (QMS) ISO 9001:2015 and Information Security Management System (ISMS) ISO/IEC 27001:2013 by SIRIM. This audit aims to assess UPM's continued compliance with the requirements of the standards set by the certification body. A total of 10 QMS auditors and three (3) ISMS auditors have attended UPM's audit this year involving 37 PTJ (QMS scope) and 13 PTJ (ISMS scope). The Internal Audit Division audit session was held on the 13^th October 2023 (Friday).

The Audit Closing Meeting was held at the Senate Hall, Putra Chancellery Building and was chaired by the Vice Chancellor of UPM, YBhg. Dato' Prof. Dr. Ahmad Farhan Mohd Sadullah. This meeting was also attended by Management Representatives, Members of the University Management Committee as well as representatives of the Responsibility Center (PTJ). UPMKB and the International Institute of Aquatic Sciences (i-AQUAS), Port Dickson were also present online.

Alhamdulillah, UPM has successfully passed the audit and the report was presented by the Head of the SIRIM QMS and ISMS Audit Team during the Closing Meeting on 13 October 2023. Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) has received the audit findings report as follows:

1. QMS: 3 Nonconformance Reports (NCR), 20 Improvement Opportunities (OFI).
2. ISMS: 0 NCR, 8 OFI.

Congratulations to all UPM citizens for ensuring that the Quality Management System and Information Security Management System at UPM are in good condition and comply with the requirements set out in MS ISO 9001:2015 and MS ISO/IEC 27001:2013 Standards.
