UPM SERDANG, 15 August - In order to invigorate, nurture and increase the spirit of
patriotism in conjunction with this year's independence month, the Internal Audit Division
participated in the Jalur Gemilang Flying Competition for Program Semarak Merdeka 2023
organized by the Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Cultural and Arts Center, UPM.

In order to fulfill one of the scoring elements which is "creative", Internal Audit staff worked
together to highlight their uniqueness and creativity through the design of iconic building
sculptures that are synonymous with Malaysia. The design concept of this invention is to use used materials with minimal cost.

With a staff strength of 15 people, Internal Audit staff managed to produce four buildings (Parliament, National Monument, Kuala Lumpur Twin Towers, Merdeka 118 Tower), Jalur Gemilang and Bunga Raya to be presented to the jury
during the evaluation day.

It is hoped that this kind of activity can foster patriotic spirit and can create a cooperative
relationship among the people of Internal Audit.
