Serdang, 3 April 2026 (Friday) – The Audit Division of Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) extends a heartfelt Hari Raya Aidilfitri greetings to all Muslim members of the UPM community. May this festive season be celebrated with gratitude, harmony, and strengthened bonds among all.
In line with the Government of Malaysia’s decision, no Hari Raya Aidilfitri Open House events will be held in 2026 (1447H) across government agencies, Government-Linked Companies (GLCs), Government-Linked Investment Companies (GLICs), as well as public universities under the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE). This measure forms part of broader efforts to ensure prudent financial management and responsible spending considering current challenges. In this regard, all PTJs are required to adhere to this directive in line with the Government’s aspirations.
The Audit Division fully supports this decision and encourages all UPM staff to observe Hari Raya in a modest and meaningful manner, with emphasis on integrity, moderation, and prudent financial practices.
The management sincerely appreciates the cooperation and understanding of all UPM staff in supporting this decision for the collective interest.
With this, we wish everyone Happy Eid al-Fitri Maaf Zahir dan Batin!
