The Internal Audit Division of Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) held a retirement ceremony for the Head of Internal Audit, Puan Zainora Abdul Talib, to celebrate her meaningful retirement. Puan Zainora will be ending her career on January 6, 2025, after years of contribution and service to the Internal Audit Division and the university. The ceremony took place at Food 6 L'Apperanti UPM.

This emotional event was attended by the UPM Internal Audit staff and former colleagues who had worked with Puan Zainora throughout her service. The memorable atmosphere was enriched with words of appreciation and gratitude from colleagues, former colleagues, and close friends who recognized her dedication and contributions during her tenure.

The theme of the event, " PERGIMU DISANJUNG, JASAMU DIKENANG reflects the significant contributions of Puan Zainora to UPM. She was not only a great leader but also a mentor who guided many audit officers with dedication and integrity. Her leadership brought many positive changes to the audit management at UPM.

Additionally, the event was graced by the presence of Puan Zainora's husband, En. Mohd Rashid Rabu, who also attended to support her on this historic day. In her speech, Puan Zainora expressed deep gratitude to all colleagues and the UPM community for their invaluable support throughout her career. She also reminded everyone to continue upholding the values of integrity, transparency, and quality in every task performed. This ceremony was not only a tribute to Puan Zainora's achievements but also a symbol of the strong bonds among the internal audit staff, who will continue to remember her guidance and contributions.
