UPM Serdang, 29 August 2022- Persatuan Pentadbir UPM has organized a Old Clothes Recycling Program located at the UPM Mosque. The collection period is from 14 July 2022 until 4 September 2022. This program, the items received are not only from the clothing category, but the organizers also receive fabric-based items such as curtains, sheets, blankets and toys. The Internal Audit Division took the opportunity to participate in the program and successfully obtained donations of used clothes from the staff of the Internal Audit Division. A total of 7 used clothing bags have been successfully collected and sent to the collection location on 29 August 2022.

It is an initiative of the Internal Audit Division to support the go green practices applied by UPM. This donation of used clothes can not only reduce the disposal of clothes in landfills but can also give tidiness to your own home. In addition, clothes that can be recycled include clothes that are not good.

Hopefully program like this can be done periodically to increase awareness among staff to practice recycling in their daily lives.
