News By : Puan Nor Anidah Rosli, Accountant Assistant

SERDANG, 05 Jun 2026 – Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) is organizing PUTRA Synergy Month 2026, taking place from 1 to 30 June 2026 at UPM Serdang and UPM Bintulu Campus, Sarawak. The initiative aims to strengthen strategic collaboration and translate the university’s aspirations into meaningful impacts for society.

The programme is a continuation of the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Laboratory and PUTRA Synergy Programme held in April. It is designed to support the implementation of the UPM Strategic Plan 2026–2030 through focused actions, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and enhanced engagement with stakeholders.

Carrying the theme “From Campus to National and Global Impact: Synergy for a Sustainable Future”, PUTRA Synergy Month 2026 serves as an important platform to strengthen partnerships among university members, industry players, government agencies, communities, and strategic partners at both national and international levels.

A wide range of programmes and activities have been planned throughout the month, including knowledge-sharing sessions, academic discourses, community engagement initiatives, innovation and research activities, industry networking programmes, and recognition of excellence among university staff and students.

The initiative reflects UPM’s commitment to fostering a culture of teamwork, enhancing service delivery, and ensuring that the university’s research and innovation outcomes generate broader benefits for society.

PUTRA Synergy Month 2026 is also expected to serve as a catalyst for the development of a more dynamic, inclusive, and sustainable university ecosystem, in line with UPM’s aspiration to remain a leading higher education institution that contributes significantly to national development and global well-being.

UPM staff, students, and members of the public are encouraged to participate in the various programmes organised throughout the month and contribute to the success of this university-wide initiative.
