SERDANG – 19 Mac 2021, The Internal Audit Division has organized a Recycling Day organized by the Recycling and Go Green Committee, EKSA.
This program is the first recycling program for the year 2021. The target of recycled items collected this time is more to used clothes because to support the Used Clothes Collection Program organized by the UPM Administrators Association. Apart from used clothes, recyclable items that can be collected are paper, plastic, aluminum cans and even used cooking oil.
Due to this pandemic, has stopped operations and forced everyone to stay at home. However, the employees in the Internal Audit Division continue to serve by spreading the program around the neighborhood so that everyone can succeed in this recycling program. All items that have been successfully collected are brought to the Office for sale and delivery today.
The Internal Audit Division managed to get RM50 from the sale of recycled items, while the used clothes that were successfully collected were sent to the clothing collection point at the UPM Mosque with the help of Taman Pertanian Universiti, UPM with the use of a tractor.
Under the new norms, the program can still be run successfully and comply with all SOPs that have been set.
