SERDANG. Monday, 27^th August 2018. UPM Internal Audit Department together with Office of the Deputy Vice Canselor (Research & Innovation) has organized cycling program for enliven Malaysia 61^st Independence Day.

This activity has been joined for a total of 40 staff who has worked in TNCPI building. En. Shahriman Hashim, Head of Administration TNCPI and Puan Zainora, Head of Internal Audit also joined in this program. Staff from UPM Security Division also included in this program.

Purpose of this program is to cultivate healthy lifestyle and strengthen a good communication among all staff.

This cycling started at 3.30 pm from Putra Science Park-MTDC to Bukit Expo Taman Pertanian Universiti which is around 5 km. During cycling, all staff has been tested with paved path and hot weather around 37 – 30 celcius.

Despite all that, all staff has successfully complete this cycling and safely arrived within estimated time. Not just cycling, they have done gotong royong in cleaning Bukit Expo while snacking that has been prepared by organizer. Tuan Haji Ghani, representative from Taman Pertanian was so glad for helping and sharing knowledge especially in green plants to all staff.

At 4.40 pm, all staff has start to went back from Bukit Expo to Putra Science Park-MTDC which is took around 2 to 3 km. They have safely arrived at 5 pm and dismiss after closing ceremony.
