UPM Serdang, 08 November 2024 - The Internal Audit Division of UPM conducted a Physical Measurement and Fitness Activity Test at the Multipurpose Hall, UPM Sports Academy. The test was carried out on 11 staff members of the Internal Audit Division.

To promote an active lifestyle, the Chief Internal Auditor supports activities and practices that encourage an active lifestyle. The benefits of this program include increased productivity and focus for employees. Fitness activities can boost energy for daily tasks, enhance self-esteem, reduce anxiety, and lower mental stress, as well as control blood pressure and strengthen the heart.

The collaboration program between the Internal Audit Division and the Sports Academy aims to cultivate a healthy lifestyle among the staff of the Internal Audit Division. Through the activities conducted, staff will better understand their physical condition and fitness levels. They also receive guidance and knowledge about effective physical activities and general health practices to improve well-being. Through these healthy activities, we will know our own capabilities and challenge ourselves to go further in fitness activities.

This program was led by Mr. Shahrulnizar bin Nurhalim, Assistant Youth & Sports Officer, along with staff from the Academic and Research Division of the Sports Academy. Physical measurements (BMI, height, weight) and tests of muscle strength, flexibility, and cardio fitness were conducted on 11 staff members of the internal audit division.

The Internal Audit Division expresses its gratitude to the sports academy for their willingness and guidance throughout the physical measurement and fitness test activities.
