SERDANG 27 May 2024 – In an effort to maintain MS ISO 9001:2015 Certification. The Internal Audit Division has carried out a self-audit of the MS ISO 9001:2015 quality management system monitoring by cross-checking the audit project file between the auditing groups involving 3 auditing sections and also the administration section of the UPM Internal Audit Division.

The self-auditing that was carried out started from May 27, 2024 until May 29, 2024. MS ISO 9001:2015 is a written standard that establishes and explains the basic requirements that must be present in the Quality Management System to ensure that the products/services provided by an organization can meet the needs of customers .

Previously, UPM's Internal Audit Division was made by an external independent body, namely (INSTITUTE OF INTERNAL AUDITORS MALAYSIA (IIA Malaysia)) and as a result of the evaluation, the Internal Audit Division complies with IIA's Standards for The Professional Practice of Internal Auditing based on the evaluation that has been carried out.

The Head of Internal Audit thanked the members of the Internal Audit Division for their commitment and launching the assessment process that has been carried out and the assessment that will be carried out by independent assessors in the future.
