UPM SERDANG, 29 JULY 2022 – The Water Spinach Microgreens which were demonstrated by Mr. Sharul Azman through the Greenhouse Project organized by EKSA committee of Internal Audit Division are ready to be harvested. The crops can be harvested within day ten to fourteen after planting.

To celebrate the harvest, Internal Audit members has prepared sandwiches using microgreens. It can also be used as salad and distributed to the staff present on the day. In addition, the harvest leftover can be brought home to share with the family.

There are many advantages of microgreen cultivation. Among the advantages are that this plant does not require a lot of space, give fast results - usually it takes a few days from planting to harvest (maximum 10 days), easy maintenance (only needs watering), and contains high nutrient content.
