SERDANG, April 13, 2026 – In an effort to enhance excellence in workplace environment management, the Institute for Social Science Studies (IPSAS) recently conducted an Public Sector Conducive Ecosystem (EKSA) Benchmarking Visit to the Internal Audit Division of Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM).
This visit serves as a proactive step by IPSAS to adopt best practices and gain innovative inspiration from the Internal Audit Division, which is widely recognized for its systematic and exemplary management record.
The IPSAS delegation, comprising members of the EKSA Implementation Committee led by Mr. Din bin Ayob, focused on two primary criteria: the EKSA record filing system and the implementation of digitalized EKSA Corners.
During the welcoming remarks, the Chairman and also EKSA Facilitator of the Internal Audit Division emphasized that the cornerstone of EKSA's success lies in consistency and collective teamwork. They further shared insights on how an efficient digital filing system significantly reduces information retrieval time while promoting a paperless office environment.
"This benchmarking exercise is not merely to fulfill audit criteria; it aims to instill a renewed spirit among IPSAS staff to become more productive within a conducive environment," stated the Head of the IPSAS Delegation.
The visit concluded with a walkabout session, during which participants were given the opportunity to observe the various work zones within the Internal Audit Division firsthand. The delegates expressed significant interest in the use of cost-effective innovative materials that deliver high visual impact and organizational efficiency.
As a result of this visit, IPSAS will formulate a follow-up action plan to adapt relevant elements, ensuring that the target of maintaining existing levels of excellence is successfully achieved.
