Serdang, February 24, 2020 - Corporate Strategy and Communications Office (CoSComm) organized an Introduction Course of EKSA on February 24, 2020 for a day held at the Dewan Taklimat Serdang, Level 1 Bangunan Canselori UPM. Participants are staff members under the entity of the Vice Chancellor's Office. The Internal Audit Department sent 3 representatives, Ms. Nurrul Syakira bint Bakhtiar, Mr Zainal Abidin bin Ahmad and Mrs Nur Asyikin bint Yusoff to attend the course. Mr Mohd Zakry bin Abdul Rashid, the Assistant Director / Director of Customs Tax Maintenance Management Unit (LTU), Royal Malaysian Customs Department, Putrajaya was invited to be the speaker.
The main purpose of this course is to provide exposure and understanding to staff on the practices and implementation of EKSA in PTJ. Among these courses, participants were exposed to comparisons between 5S and EKSA Practices, benefits of implementing EKSA, elements of EKSA practices, implementation of EKSA and examples of conducive working environments.The course was also attended by Mr Noor Mohamad b Shakil Hameed, Deputy Director Corporate Strategy and Communications Office (CoSComm).
It is hoped that this course will provide new input and a clearer understanding to all participants so that EKSA can be practiced and implemented effectively in their respective PTJs.
