SERDANG, July 17, 2026 – In an effort to support environmental sustainability and promote mental well-being among its staff, the Internal Audit Division Club successfully organized the 'Art Therapy: Soap Making Using Used Cooking Oil' program on Friday, July 17, 2026. The program, exclusively tailored for all Internal Audit Division staff, commenced at 9:30 AM at the Internal Audit Division.

This program aimed not only to preserve the environment through recycling practices but also served as an art therapy platform to alleviate workplace stress among participants. The knowledge and skill transfer session was excellently facilitated by an experienced facilitator, Madam Hairunnisak Jalil from the University Community Transformation Centre (UCTC).

To ensure the success of the "Recycle Oil, Create Soap, Protect the Earth" initiative, attending staff brought their own used cooking oil from home.

Among the key benefits gained by the participants through this program include:

• Mental Well-being: Helped relieve stress and calm the mind through relaxing art activities throughout the session.

• Personal Development: Honed participants' creativity and new skills in basic product crafting.

• Environmental Sustainability: Actively supported an eco-friendly lifestyle by practically reducing carbon footprints.

• Quality Products: Produced safe, high-quality handmade soap suitable for the whole family.

In addition to gaining new knowledge, participants' faces lit up with smiles as they had the opportunity to bring home their handmade soaps at the end of the session. The organization of this program is seen as a success in strengthening the camaraderie among staff members while fostering a creative, healthy, and sustainable lifestyle in the workplace.
