UPM SERDANG 28 May 2024 – Universiti Pura Malaysia held the Majlis Gemilang Putra (MGP) held at the Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Culture and Arts Center (PKSSAAS). The ceremony started with a welcoming speech by the Registrar, YBrs. En Muhazam Mansor and followed by a speech by YBhg. Dato' Prof. Dr. Ahmad Farhan Mohd Sadullah, Vice Chancellor of UPM. This ceremony is one of the recognitions for the workforce who have worked hard to fulfill their responsibilities and trust to the organization. The theme of Workers' Day 2024 at the national level, which is 'Employees of the Nation', is significant and important for all of us in producing human capital that has the characteristics of culture, values and aspirations to be competent to innovate.

Mr. Mohd Faiz Suparman was selected as one of the 2023 Outstanding Service Award Recipients from the Vice Chancellor's Office Entity, while Mrs. Zainora Abdul Talib and Mr. Sharul Azman each received the Setia Putra Award. With this appreciation, UPM staf as a whole will continue to achieve success and demonstrate high performance, integrity and enthusiasm in carrying out their daily tasks. Majlis Gemilang Putra ended at 1pm.
