Serdang: 01 June 2021. Based on the Special Session of the National Security Council (NSC) on the Management of COVID-19 chaired by the YAB Prime Minister on 28 May 2021 has decided to implement a full closure of social and economic sectors or 'total lockdown' Phase One throughout country for a period of 14 days from 1 June 2021 to 14 June 2021. During this period, ALL sectors are NOT ALLOWED to operate EXCEPT the essential economic and service sector listed by the National Security Council.

In line with the implementation, the University Management has decided to maintain the closure of all UPM premises and implement the Work From Home (BDR) method except PTJ which is the Responsibility Center which provides critical services such as UPM Teaching Hospital, University Health Center, Safety Division, Occupational Safety and Health Office , Information and Communication Development Center (IDEC).

Based on the directive, the Internal Audit Division is also no exception in implementing the Work From Home (BDR) method. To ensure that the Internal Audit Division's employee services remain functional in performing audit tasks, and at the same time ensure the safety and welfare of employees, the use of Zoom Application or Google Meet has been used as a mediation medium for discussions and meetings as implemented during PKP 1.0 in March. 2020.

Hopefully, with the adherence to these instructions, the COVID-19 infection curve in Malaysia can be hit.
