Serdang, 16 June 2020 - Office of Occupational Safety and Health Management held a spotcheck session at Internal Audit on 16 June 2020 to evaluate compliance with UPM's COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines. Two employees from OSH UPM Office, En. Hasmi bin Sulaiman and En. Abd Mutalib bin Yahya was present to review the Internal Audit Office.

This review is intended to ensure that each PTJ complies with UPM's COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines. The elements of COVID-19 prevention aids reviewed are: -

1. Monitoring of COVID-19 Infectious Risk Assessment for physical presence
2. Availability of Body Temperature Screening Counters
3. Ease of body temperature gauge
4. Record body temperature measurements
5. Tables at the body temperature control counter
6. Hand sanitizer facilities in public
7. Install QR CODE UPM COVID-19 Tracking at the appropriate location
8. Provider / Contractor / Visitors control actions
9. Install COVID-19 Prevention Poster at the appropriate location.
10. Training appropriate to staff conducted on COVID-19
11. Compliance practices among present staff: 3W (wash, wear and warn), 3C (crowded places, confined space and close conversation)

12. Staff aware of emergency action in case of contact with suspected COVID-19
